GUILD Conference is a 4-day, comprehensive CME activity for gastroenterologists, GI nurse practitioners and physician assistants. GUILD utilizes evidence-based data around the management of inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases and common GI conditions.

Didactics and hands on course on third space endoscopy. Including ESD and POEM.

Masterclass and update in endobariatrics, suturing, TORe, X-tack, approach to complications in bariatrics.

Two days of live procedural demonstrations by internationally renowned experts encompassing EUS, ERCP, endoscopic resections and 3rd space endoscopy.

Demonstrate cutting-edge procedural techniques with emphasis on "How to do it safely and effectively" and how to manage procedure-related adverse event.  Hands-on-training lab focusing on interventions, innovations and EUS cytopathogy

Successfully completed the online course: "RF-license: Principles of radio-frequency surgery" incl. a theoretical exam. The course covered the following contents:
- Physical principles (of how RF surgery works)
- Tissue effects in RF surgery (electrosurgical coagulation and incision)
- RF application technique (monopolar/ bipolar) and fundamentals of the correct use.

I was trained by prof. dr. Grecco and prof. dr. de Souza in endobariatrics. We held an intensive training in intra-gastricballon placement, removal and treatment of complications.  Furthermore training in endosuturing with the Apollo overstitch system and performing endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty.

This novel one day live virtual course was held on August 6th, 2021 for Physicians to update participants on cutting-edge innovative management of gastrointestinal diseases. The program presented endoscopic management optimization in the setting of novel minimally invasive procedures and latest technologies. 

I was trained and certified by medtronic during the introduction of small bowel capsule endoscopy on Aruba.

ASGE’s Skills, Training, Assessment and Reinforcement (STAR) program features a blended learning format.  An online evidence-based curriculum with a live course, hands-on training and performance assessment provides an interactive and collaborative education experience.

Gained deep insights in the technique of endoscopic submucosal dissection and per-oral endoscopy myotomy. Course director prof. dr. Michel Kahaleh.

I was trained as a gastroenterologist at the Vrije Universiteit in
Amsterdam. I followed the hepatology programme at the Erasmus
Universiteit in Rotterdam.

Followed a part of my hepatology training in Hollands biggest liver transplantation centre.

The ESEGH is a pan-European knowledge-based assessment for Gastroenterology and Hepatology trainees, delivered in partnership with the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK (Federation) and the British Society of Gastroenterology(BSG), based on the successful EBGH Examination and the Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) in Gastroenterology.

The ESEGH is a high quality, reliable examination, based on a proven format, now UK (General Medical Council) Regulator approved, which is currently mandatory in the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK from 2018
